Mr. Rohit Kumas Das, a visionary and a zealous entrepreneur, has been instrumental in shaping the growth of RKD Construction Pvt. Ltd. The founder, RKD Construction is his brain child. It is through his vision and strategic planning, that RKD Construction turned in to a multimillion company within a short span of time.
Mr. Das can be accredited as one of the pioneers who set the foundation stone of progress in Orissa. He identified the vast growth potential for construction industry in Orissa and channelized his finance, efforts and energy to transform his dream of making RKD a leading name in the construction sector in Orissa in to reality.
Through his efforts, RKD Construction could bag multimillion projects by NHAI, State Government and esteemed private sector organizations as Jindal/ NALCO/ IOCL/ SAIL/ NTPC to name just a few.
His commitment to share his vision and wisdom for the growth of Orissa through supreme quality civil construction across the state remains undeterred even after 3 decades.
As a man of great stature, Mr. Das understood the need for retaining qualified hands for the success of construction industry. He ensured that RKD Construction offered friendly work environment and always encouraged the right talent with various incentives.
Mr. Akshya Kumar Das - Director
Mr. A.K. Das, is the co founder of RKD Construction Pvt. Ltd and brother of Mr. Rohit Kumar Das.
Mr. A. K. Das heads the Mechanical wing of RKD Construction and manages all the departments including the Technical and Purchase Department.
Mr. Akshaya began his career with Paradeep Port Trust Limited. While serving Paradeep Port Trust Limited, he quickly learned the ropes and mastered the art and science of corporate administration.
Mr. Akshaya’s passion for hiring the best talent and technology and indulging in the best corporate practices has helped the evolution of RKD from a privately owned outfit to a professional, corporate house.
Mr. Akshaya is all geared to take RKD Construction to the next level and increase its gambit to encompass broader areas of construction industry.
Mr. Swayam Prakash Das - DIRECTOR
A Mechanical Engineer from BPUT with an Application Developer degree from IBM, Mr. Swayam Prakash began his career with RKD Info Systems, which went on to merge with RKD Construction to provide in house IT support to the ever increasing software needs of the company.
Mr. Swayam Prakash Das has provided a major boost to RKD Construction in 2010 by successful completion of a major turn-key project in record time for RKD Construction, which added an estimated 50Crore to its turnover.
Mr. Swayam Prakash Das brings with him excellent knowledge in executing NHAI Projects.
Mr. Rohan Das - DIRECTOR
Mr. Rohan Das is a young, talented professional and brings with him fresh innovative ideas. A post graduate in Finance and Marketing from XIM Bhubaneswar, Mr. Rohan Das worked for MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LTD for a year, after completing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from N.I.T Rourkela in year 2008.
During this time in MARUTI SUZUKI, he was a part of the Cross Functional team responsible for the compliance of MSIL vehicles to ELV Regulation of the European Union.
He worked as a Divisional Co-ordinator for Recycling Techniques in the automotive sector.
As a student, Mr. Rohan Das was the General Secretary, Student Executive Council, XIM Bhubaneswar for the academic year 2010-11.
Mr. PRAVAT MOHAPATRA - Director
Mr. Pravat Chandra Mahapatra heads the Finance, Accounts and Administration Department. He brings with him rich experience of over 34 years working in Public Sector in the field of Term Lending for MSME

Mr. Mahapatra reconstructed the OSFC & Revival Package and sought approval from Govt/SIDBI/IDBI. During his tenure at OSFC he successfully coordinated, liaison and negotiations with several commercial bank heads for OTS of SLR Bond that they agreed to waive off the interest & got contributions from State Govt. in form of 100% equity.
Mr. Mahapatra implemented and executed the OTS for MSME of OSFC, a Scheme approved by the State Cabinet.
